Syracuse University's Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics to host Oct. 31 lecture

Syracuse University's Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics (LLL), the Linguistic Studies Program, and the Cognitive Science Program at SU will host a lecture by Luigi Burzio on Oct. 31 at 3 p.m. in Room 107 of the Hall of Languages.

Burzio, a professor in the Department of Cognitive Science at Johns Hopkins University, will speak on "Representational Proximity and Faithfulness Constraints in Optimality Theory."
