
The program with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra includes the world premiere of Taylor's "Brief Encounters," commissioned by the University. The SUArt Galleries will present "On the Edge of Clear Meaning"—the first retrospective exhibition of photographer John Wood—at the Shaffer Art Building from Oct. 29 to Jan. 10. The exhibition "Winslow Homer's Empire State: Houghton Farm and Beyond" will be on view at the Palitz Gallery of SU's Joseph I. Lubin House in New York City from Nov. 9 to Dec. 6.
