The Graduate School offers over 200 degree programs among its 10 schools and colleges and awards approximately 1,600 Master's degrees each year. Since its founding in 1870, the Graduate School has been a leader in quality graduate education among its peers in higher education and has been a member of the select Association of American Universities (AAU) since 1966.

Graduate Funding Opportunities

  • The National Science Foundation (NSF) East Asia and Pacific Summer Institutes for U.S. Graduate Students: The 2011 application is now open and will close at 5:00 pm local time on November 10, 2010. For further information concerning benefits, eligibility, and tips on applying, applicants are encouraged to visit www.nsf.gov/eapsi or www.nsfsi.org.
  • The applications for the 2011-2012 National Security Education Program's David L. Boren Scholarships for Fellowships for graduate students are now available at www.borenawards.org. Boren Awards provide unique funding opportunities for U.S. students to study in Africa, Asia, Central & Eastern Europe, Eurasia, Latin America, and the Middle East, where they can add important international and language components to their educations. Boren Fellowships provide up to $30,000 for language study and international research. The application deadline for the Boren Fellowship is February 1.
