Standardized Test Scores

SAT or ACT

All first-year applicants, regardless of citizenship or country of residence (with the exception of applicants from the People's Republic of China), are required to submit standardized test scores. Both the College Entrance Examination Board Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) and American College Testing program (ACT) standardized tests are accepted.

If you have not already done so, register to take the SAT. Make sure that when you register to take the SAT you indicate on the form that you would like your scores sent directly to Syracuse University. The College Board code for Syracuse University is 2823. Even if you are eligible for advanced credit, you must take the SAT.

Students taking only the ACT must take the ACT with the Writing Test, if it is offered in your country.
