Multicultural Spring Program 2012

"Pursuing Academic and Cultural Excellence"

culture288

The Office of Admissions presents the Multicultural Spring Program (MSP) as an opportunity for admitted students with a broad range of racial and cultural backgrounds to learn about resources available at Syracuse University. We want each participant to leave feeling motivated about his or her college experience, inspired about joining the Syracuse community, and familiar with the campus and opportunities available to you. The Multicultural Spring Program runs from Sunday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 24 and includes the Spring Reception which falls on that Monday, April 23.

In addition to experiencing the academic, residential, and social life on campus, students attending MSP have a dinner with University deans, faculty, and students. The three-day program features the popular Cultural Show, a showcase of artistic expression featuring many of our popular student organizations.

Students participating in MSP are housed overnight with current Syracuse students. Overnight accommodations are for students only. Family members attending the program need to stay at one of our local hotels.

Please note that there is a $25 fee to participate in MSP.  Space is limited, so completing the registration form as soon as possible is highly recommended. In order for us to make all necessary arrangements, students must pre-register to attend the program. We accept requests on a space-available basis.

Round-trip bus service from New York City for students attending MSP is made available for a modest fee.

Invitations will be mailed to admitted students.

Registration will be available late February.
