Scholarship Listserv

Signing up for the Scholarship Listserv will enable you to receive direct email announcements from the Office of Scholarship Programs about upcoming general outside scholarship opportunities.

To request your subscription, send an email with NO subject to listserv@listserv.syr.edu

NOTE: you must use your <@syr.edu> account to subscribe. If you have a signature or quote that appears automatically on the end of your email messages, you MUST remove it before you send your email request.

Your email should look like this:

To: listserv@listserv.syr.edu

Subject:

Body text: sub scholar yourfirstname yourlastname

For example: if your name is Jane Doe, you would type the following message in the body of the email:

sub scholar Jane Doe

You will receive confirmation from "L-Soft list server at Syracuse University" almost immediately. You MUST RESPOND within 48 hours. All you need to do is reply to sender, and type ok.

You will receive a lengthy message back from "L-Soft list server at Syracuse University" again, almost immediately. PLEASE save this important information for future reference.
