- ADDITIONAL INFO:Applicants must write an essay of between 3500 and 7500 words about the Spanish Civil War, the global anti-fascist political or cultural struggles of the 1920s and 30s, or the lifetime histories and contributions of the Americans who fought in support of the Spanish Republic from 1936-1938. Work will be judged on originality and effectiveness of argument or presentation. All entries must be submitted as an MS Word or PDF, and sent to sebastiaan.faber@oberlin.edu.
