Officers of the Board of Trustees include:
- Chair
- Chair Emeritus
- Vice Chairs (one or more)
- Secretary
The chair and vice chair(s) are elected from the full Board at the annual meeting and hold office for one-year terms. The secretary is also elected at the annual meeting each year. The chair is responsible for presiding over all Board meetings and serving as chair of the executive committee. He or she may serve for a maximum of six one-year terms. Vice chairs, selected according to their seniority of membership, perform the duties of the chair in his or her absence or disability. The secretary gives notice of and attends all Board meetings and records the minutes and sends them to Board members after each meeting. The secretary is also custodian of the charter and bylaws and other records and documents of the Board.
