"I'm grateful for having had advisors at SU who as easily suggested literature or science fiction as they pointed me toward art and photography references."

Modrak states, " I am grateful for having had advisers at Syracuse University who as easily suggested literature or science fiction as they pointed me toward art and photography references. Michael Recht, Adrienne Salinger, and Lawson Smith taught me that art practice is broader than the immediate discipline I was studying."
