Marco Forte

Marco Forte is Vice President, Primetime Sales, ABC Television Network reporting to Tom Watson, Senior Vice President, Primetime Sales. Mr. Forte was named to this position in December 2011.

Mr. Forte manages a sales team covering all network television  dayparts as well as digital and new media sales. In this role, Mr. Forte is also responsible for the sale of ABC Network primetime advertising. He handles a roster of over 30 national advertisers including Apple, McDonald’s, J.C. Penney, Visa and PepsiCo. He negotiates the price of all upfront and scatter primetime advertising, including primetime specials, digital, and integrated marketing partnerships. He is responsible for presenting new sales opportunities, research, and programming development to clients.

Mr. Forte joined ABC in 2000 as an account executive in ABC Daytime and Soapnet sales. In 2003 he was promoted to account executive in ABC News and Late-Night sales, and in 2007 was promoted to senior account executive in Primetime sales.

Prior to joining ABC, Mr. Forte held the title of vice president, national broadcast, at The Media Edge where he oversaw all media spending for the Taco Bell account.  He began his career at TN Media, Inc. where he held buyer positions on the Mattel and S.C. Johnson accounts.

Mr. Forte received a Bachelor of Science degree in consumer studies in 1995 from Syracuse University, Syracuse NY.

He resides in Rye, New York with his wife Tracey and two young children Gavin and Chloe. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, golfing and reading up on the latest business trends that shape the media industry.
