“My experience at Syracuse University has
been a period of growth and realization,” he
says. “I owe a great debt of gratitude to those
who went before me and had an immense
impact on the direction of my academic
career.”
With all that have been said, it’s difficult to say thank you to one
person or just to an office. I owe a great deal of debt to those
who are coming behind me because those who went before me
without a doubt had an immense impact on the direction of my
academic career. I learned a lot and acted on much of the advice
given to me by students who were juniors and seniors at the time
I was a freshman. I especially would like to thank Corning for their
generous support through their scholarship.
A special thank you must go out to my family who has worked
so hard to create a better future for my brother, cousins and
for myself. To my mother, who worked multiple jobs to make a
college education possible, my gratitude is boundless. It feels like
yesterday I was watching my mother cry as she left her freshman
at Shaw Hall. Now she will watch her senior take the next step in
his career from behind her tears.
