
Kim Steele ’71 developed an interest in photography at age 10. But it wasn't until he attended the Newhouse School that his interest became a passion. There, he was able to explore many fields and gain skills—like communicating properly and effectively analyzing and solving problems—that are critical to photography.
Now a generous gift from the professional photographer is supporting the renovation of the Newhouse School’s portfolio center, an upgraded space that will be the hub of activity for multimedia photography and design students. Read more...
Bay Area total exceeds $15.6 million!
More than 900 SU alumni, parents, and friends in the Bay Area have joined Kim Steele in supporting The Campaign for Syracuse University. As of May 31, 2012, more than $15.6 million has been pledged to the campaign—$1,304,784 since the start of the San Francisco regional effort on February 1, 2012!
