Celebrate philanthropy at SU!Next week, Syracuse University will celebrate the vital role of philanthropy—especially here on campus.
Just look around you to see the names of generous people whose gifts have made your SU experience special. Then honor them by being part of these open-to-everyone Philanthropy Week activities...
INAUGURAL PHANSTIEL LECTURE
Tuesday, April 10, 4 p.m.
Hendricks Chapel
The first Phanstiel Lecture—supported by a generous gift from SU Trustee Howie Phanstiel ’70, G’71 and Louise Phanstiel—will feature John J. Wood, a former Microsoft executive who went on to found one of the fastest-growing nonprofits in history.
Don't miss his inspirational story about Room to Read, an organization that's transforming the lives of children in developing countries through literacy and gender equality in education.
