Acclaimed international theater critic
and SU London faculty member
Matt Wolf to host week–long
immersion experience for
SU Alumni, June 11-18, 2011.
Experience a wide spectrum of contemporary London theatre, with access to the city’s hottest sold-out performances, plus daily discussions and lectures with theater directors, producers, and actors.
Participants will experience live performances daily at London’s most historic venues, and then join other alumni at SU’s Faraday House, located just off London’s famed West End theater district, getting a insider’s perspective at London theater.
"This looks like a particularly vintage season: Shakespeare, Pinter, Albee, and Ibsen performed by stars like David Tennant, Kristin Scott Thomas, Imelda Staunton, and Penelope Wilton,” says Wolf. “All that, plus the Royal Opera House and the Globe, as well, should contribute to as illuminating, enlightening, and entertaining a trip as one could imagine."
