Don’t miss these great Chicago events!
See SU’s George Saunders—named one of TIME magazine’s TIME 100—May 6 at Northwestern University’s Evanston campus. An English professor at SU and author of Tenth of December, his talk is free and open to the public—but space is limited!
On June 11, SU’s Chef Mary Kiernan will lead a free cooking demonstration for Generation Orange alums.
And with Commencement just weeks away, SU grads seeking jobs in Chicago can mark their calendars for the annual SUccess in the City event.
SU alums in Chicago
It’s no secret Chicago alums are doing great things:
>> Mark Verone ’95 and Rachelle Hardy ’95 are a couple who’ve spent a decade welcoming the newest classes of SU-bound students.
>> Jason Sacks ’03 helps Chicago’s youth through the Positive Coaching Alliance.
>> Kathleen Bannan ’91 is creating a culture of sustainability and social responsibility at McDonald’s.
