Your news update just for Atlanta!
Spring may be on its way, but college decisions already have high school students planning for fall.
This joyous time can be disheartening for those whose academic and leadership potential may be overlooked by traditional selection processes. Now, thanks to a groundbreaking partnership between SU and the Posse Foundation, 10 Posse Scholars from the Atlanta area are getting the chance to pursue their academic dreams!
The Posse Foundation identifies, recruits, and trains these unconventional young leaders and sends them in multicultural teams—Posses—to partner schools like SU.
“The Posse Scholarship literally changed my life,” says Elmer Moreno ’16, a current SU Posse Scholar whose circumstances deemed him ineligible for most financial aid options.
