I'm Andrew Beyda, the current president of University Union at SU. According to our records, you were involved with University Union during your time on campus, so I'm very excited to share some information with you regarding our upcoming UU Reunion.
This year's reunion is Friday, October 15, 2010, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Jabberwocky Cafe, Schine Student Center. The UU Reunion will be one of the highlights of Orange Central 2010, the combined Homecoming and Reunion celebration. There are many other great events throughout the weekend, including:
- The SU Homecoming Football Game against the University of Pittsburgh in the Carrier Dome.
- A preseason NBA Basketball game between the Minnesota Timberwolves (featuring SU alumni Jonny Flynn and Wes Johnson) and the Detroit Pistons, also in the Carrier Dome.
- Gala celebrations of the Arents and Orange Circle awards.

The UU Reunion is much more than just a chance to reflect on your UU experiences. Since 1962, University Union has been the training ground for many SU alumni who have become successful in music, entertainment, and many other fields. The reunion gives you the opportunity to network with our current UU directors and members and make connections that will enhance their current UU work as well as their post-graduation experiences.
