I can’t believe this is the year of our 20th Reunion, which will be celebrated during Orange Central Weekend, November 8-11, 2012. Where has the time gone? To careers, relationships, and families – just to name a few.
The weekend’s festivities will begin on Thursday, November 8 with the Arents Award dinner beginning at 5 p.m. This is when the University confers its highest alumni awards. On Friday there will be educational programming during the day followed by the traditional parade and pep rally early evening. A game watching party has been scheduled for Friday night so those of us not lucky enough to be in San Diego for the Battle on the Midway can still be part of the excitement as the men’s basketball team takes on San Diego State. Our class party will be pre-game on Saturday under a tent on the Quad. That’s where all of the game-day action takes place including a performance by the SU Marching Band. The football team will take on Louisville in the Carrier Dome. Stay tuned for a possible post-game party if kickoff time allows (kickoff is currently TBD). We will get together for the Farewell Brunch on Sunday morning before saying our goodbyes until we meet again.
