Yes, you guessed it – it’s reunion time again for the Class of ’82! It was 30 years ago that you graduated from SU. On November 8-11, we hope you will join us on campus for a memorable weekend to renew old friendships, attend lectures, talk with current students, enjoy a game or two, and most important, have fun.
The weekend’s festivities will begin on Thursday, November 8 with the Arents Award dinner beginning at 5 p.m. This is when the University confers its highest alumni awards. On Friday there will be educational programming during the day followed by the traditional parade and pep rally early evening. A game watching party has been scheduled for Friday night so those of us not lucky enough to be in San Diego for the Battle on the Midway can still be part of the excitement as the men’s basketball team takes on San Diego State. Your class party will be on Saturday pre-game under a tent on the Quad. That’s where all of the game-day action takes place including a performance by the SU Marching Band. The football team will take on Louisville in the Carrier Dome. Stay tuned for a possible post-game party if kickoff time allows (kickoff is currently TBD). We will get together for the Farewell Brunch on Sunday morning before saying our goodbyes until we meet again.
