suaa logoThe Syracuse University Alumni Association Board of Directors is seeking nominations for new board members. The board's mission is to create an environment in which Syracuse University alumni, former students, parents, students and friends become and stay connected to the University and support it with their work, wisdom, and wealth. The term length is two years, and board members can serve up to two terms. Board members are asked to:

  • Work to advance the mission, purposes, and priorities of the Association and the University while promoting diversity.   
  • Attend and participate in board meetings and meetings of assigned committees and any other entities, in compliance with bylaws provisions.   
  • Attend University programs and events on campus and regionally.   
  • Join affiliated alumni groups in one’s region or interest area(s).
  • Identify desirable potential students for admission to the University and promote their interest in the University.

National Alumni Association

The Association is an advisory board of alumni elected to promote the general welfare and interests of Syracuse University as an institution with a committment to learning through teaching, research, scholarship, creative accomplishment, and service. Members of the SU Alumni Association Board of Directors are elected based on demonstrated involvement with Syracuse University.
