If you have not already chosen a program of study, be sure to review our Academic Options (Colleges/Majors). Many of our schools and colleges allow students to apply as undecided majors, if they wish.
Once the above items are completed, please review our College Requirements to find out if you need to submit any additional materials (portfolio, audition, etc).
Ensure that all your transcript/academic credentials are submitted by mail. You may download a listing of our Credentials and Advanced Credit Policies for more information.
Beginning this fall, you may monitor the status of your application materials online using your Syracuse University ID (SUID) number. This number will be printed on mailed items we send to you, or you may call our office (315-443-3611) or e-mail (orange@syr.edu) and we will be glad to provide this number to you.
Please allow 2-4 weeks after items arrive on campus for them to be reflected in your online status. We encourage international applicants to use a shipping service that requires a delivery confirmation signature (this will confirm the exact date and time your materials arrive on campus).
