How do I find out more about the program to which I have been admitted?

What kind of food will I find on campus and nearby?

All undergraduates living in either North or South Campus residence halls are required to enroll in a University meal plan. Our meal plans provide a wide array of dining options on campus in one of the five residence hall dining centers, three food courts, 13 cafes and two convenient on-campus grocery stores and snack areas.  Within walking distance from campus are restaurants on Marshall Street or in the Westcott area. Or, explore eateries in downtown Syracuse by taking the Connective Corridor bus.   When on campus for a Spring Reception or meeting our current students online, be sure to ask for dining recommendations.


What types of clubs and organizations are available?
We encourage you to get involved in campus.  There are more than 300 student organizations to choose from - academic, arts and entertainment, governance, Greek life, and more!  Visit the Office of Student Life for more information and list of organizations.  Many of our students get involved in the community through service learning and volunteer opportunities.  Visit the Mary Ann Shaw Center for Public and Community Service to learn more.

What is offered as far as exercise facilities and recreation opportunities?
Students can choose from a variety of weightrooms, gyms, studios, tennis courts, and fields on campus.  While students can participate in a variety of exercise and recreation activities on campus, there's plenty to do off campus as well.  Students take advantage of activities such as whitewater rafting, skiing, and hiking.  Visit the Department of Recreation Services for more information on fitness classes, facilities, and off-campus recreation events.
